Harpers Bagels: Fresh-Baked Goodness in the Heart of Tomball

If you love local spots with heart, Harpers Bagels in Tomball deserves a place on your must-visit list. This family-run shop is known for one thing above all else: fresh, handmade bagels baked every single morning — and sold until they’re gone.

Founded in May by brothers Sean and Aaron Rink, Harpers Bagels opens before sunrise each day. Sean arrives as early as 1 a.m. to bake roughly 200 bagels from scratch. No additives. No shortcuts. Just simple, quality ingredients shaped into warm, chewy bagels that locals are quickly falling in love with.

The shop is named after Sean’s daughter, Harper — a sweet legacy he hopes to pass down one day. After more than 20 years in the gas and oil industry, a conversation with his young daughter inspired this new chapter and the creation of a community favorite.

What You’ll Find at Harpers Bagels

Guests can choose from eight to ten rotating flavors, including:

  • Plain

  • Everything

  • Blueberry

  • Cinnamon Raisin

  • Sesame

  • Onion

  • Poppy

  • Pumpernickel

  • Salt

Pair your bagel with one of their seven or eight cream cheese flavors (the honey walnut is a standout). They also offer breakfast sandwiches, BLTs, coffee, and even gluten-free muffins upon request.

Located along North Eldridge Parkway in a busy shopping center near Marco’s Pizza and Daily Donuts, the shop has already built a loyal following. The owners hope to expand into the space next door in the future — a sign that Tomball has embraced them wholeheartedly.

Why Locals Love It

Harpers Bagels brings something unique to Tomball: a true scratch-made bakery atmosphere with a family story at its center. The quality is real, the flavors are fantastic, and the heart behind the business makes every visit feel like supporting a neighbor.

If you’re in or near Tomball, stop by early and grab a fresh bagel — because once they sell out, that’s it for the day.
